I need help with vodafone top up!!?

Help,, It says on the vodafone website if I top up �10 credit I get 100 minutes and 300 texts(something to do with vodafone freebies i think?).. do I just top up as normal and I will automatically get the free minutes and texts? or Do I have to do something else? its for my new blackberry curve 9300 and i dont want to top up �10 for nothing
