Iphone cracked screen... what do i do?

i had my iphone 3gs charging on my kitchen table. it was plugged into the wall. my cat was sitting on one of the chairs at the table and when i was feeding him he jumped down and his tail hit the cable and knocked it on the ground and shattered half the screen pretty bad. what can i do? can apple do anything?
