Baby Shower Trouble.......?

This is my fourth pregnancy and I still have a long tim til my shower BUT I really want a shower this time. With my last two pregnancies I didnt have one. No one threw me one or offered so I didnt want to seem like I was wanting freebies or anything. But This time I really want one. I love having my family together to celebrate my lil one. I could careless bout the gifts. I just love the games and everything. Do you think I could just plan my own but on the invites include that gifts are optional? I dont want ppl thinking I want hand outs. I just want a baby shower.
